"When It Looks Like They Got Away With It" (Zechariah 5:1-4) - Daily Manna - 08/05/26

God sees what human systems overlook, and no injustice escapes His attention.

In Zechariah’s startling vision, a massive flying scroll moves openly across the land, carrying God’s Word and announcing that those who steal, deceive, and swear falsely have not escaped accountability. Though wickedness may appear to prosper and dishonest people may seem to go unpunished, ADONAI’s justice is already in motion.

This teaching from Zech. 5:1–4 reminds us that God’s Word will accomplish everything He sends it to do. It encourages those who have been wronged to release vengeance into His hands, while also calling each of us to examine our own hearts, walk in integrity, and bring every hidden compromise into the light.
