"When God Dwells In the Center" (Zechariah 8:1-8) - Daily Manna - 08/12/26
God is not interested in empty religious activity—He is forming a people who know Him, reflect His character, and carry His presence into the world.
In Zechariah 8:1–8, ADONAI declares His burning zeal for Zion, promises to dwell in the midst of Jerusalem, and paints a beautiful picture of a city transformed by His presence—a place of truth, righteousness, safety, joy, and shalom. Yet to a remnant surrounded by unfinished work, opposition, and years of deferred hope, the promise must have sounded impossible.
God’s response is powerful: Will it also be difficult in My eyes?
This teaching is a reminder that God has not forgotten His people. He is still working, still restoring, still gathering, and still forming us into the people He has called us to be. When He is in the center, everything begins to change.
