"A Way of Escape, A River of Life" (Zechariah 14:1-8) - Daily Manna - 08/25/26

The Day of the LORD is coming—and when He steps into the middle of the shaking, everything changes.

Zechariah 14 opens with Jerusalem surrounded, the nations gathered, and a remnant passing through refining fire. But destruction does not have the final word. ADONAI goes forth to fight, His feet stand on the Mount of Olives, the mountain splits to create a way of escape, darkness gives way to light, and living waters begin to flow from Jerusalem.

In this teaching, we trace the remarkable connection between the Gihon Spring, the waters of Eden, the water-drawing ceremony of Sukkot, Yeshua’s invitation to the thirsty in John 7, and the river of life that ultimately flows from the presence of God. The same LORD who refines His people is the One who makes a way through the mountain and brings life where there was once only dryness and death.

Until the day He makes all things new, the call is clear: remain faithful, allow Him to refine what is within you, and come again to Yeshua—the source of living water.
