"Faith that has Overcome" (1 John 5:1-5) - Daily Manna - 06/17/26

The faith that overcomes the world is not disconnected from love, obedience, or the life God is forming in us.

In 1 John 5:1-5, John brings together the wholeness of walking with God: believing that Yeshua is the Messiah, being born of God, loving the Father, loving His children, and keeping His commandments. True faith is not merely a confession we make; it is a trust in Messiah that transforms us from the inside out.

God’s commandments are not burdensome because they lead us into life, love, and freedom. And the victory that overcomes the world is not found in our own strength, but in faith in Yeshua, Ben-Elohim—the Son of God. Greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world.
