"Love and Truth… You can’t Have one without the Other." (2 John 1-3) - Daily Manna - 06/22/26

Love without truth is not truly love, and truth without love does not fully represent God.
In the opening verses of 2 John, we see John’s pastoral heart as he writes to a beloved believing community with tenderness, warning, and clarity. His message is deeply needed: God’s people are called to love in truth, remain in the truth, and receive grace, mercy, and shalom from the Father and from Messiah Yeshua in truth and love.
This teaching reminds us that biblical love does not ignore danger, soften truth, or leave people walking toward destruction. But biblical truth is never harsh, arrogant, or empty of compassion. The character of God holds both together perfectly — and His people are called to do the same.
