"Wholly His. A Reassuring Comfort." (1 John 3:19-24) - Daily Manna - 06/10/26
When your own heart speaks against you, the Father invites you to bring it into His light.
In 1 John 3:19–24, John gives a deeply reassuring word to believers who may feel the weight of their own failures, shortcomings, and unfinished obedience. Our hearts may “know against” us, reminding us of where we have fallen short in love, neglected the needs of others, or failed to walk as Yeshua walked. But John does not point us inward for reassurance—he points us back to God.
God is greater than our hearts, and He knows all things. That truth is not meant to drive us into despair, but to call us into confidence before the Father. He already knows everything, and still invites us to bring our hearts before Him, confess what needs to be confessed, entrust what needs to be entrusted, and abide in Him.
This teaching explores the comfort of belonging wholly to God, the confidence we have in relationship with Him, and the unified command to believe in the name of Yeshua the Messiah and love one another in deed and truth.
