"Love Sacrifices Self" (1 John 3:11-18) - Daily Manna - 06/09/26

Love is more than words—it is a life laid down.

In 1 John 3:11–18, we are brought face-to-face with the difference between the way of Cain and the way of Yeshua. Cain’s hatred exposed a heart ruled by darkness, but Yeshua’s love reveals the heart of God: self-giving, sacrificial, and willing to act for the good of another.

John reminds us that we know we have passed from death to life because we love our brothers and sisters. This love is not merely spoken; it is demonstrated. It opens the heart, meets real needs, and walks as Yeshua walked.

Join us for today’s Daily Manna as we look at what it means to love not only “with word or talk,” but “in deed and truth.”
