"Moving From Agreement to Action" (James 1:22-27) - Daily Manna - 07/06/26

The Word of God was never meant to be stored away in our minds while our lives remain unchanged.

In James 1:22–27, Jacob calls believers to move from agreement to action—to become doers of the Word and not hearers only. It is possible to hear the truth, affirm the truth, and even love the truth, while still walking away unchanged. But the implanted Word was given to rescue our lives, shape our character, bridle our tongues, and move us toward pure worship that reflects the heart of God.

This teaching invites us to look honestly into the mirror of the Word, not with a quick glance, but with a willing heart that says, “ADONAI, let Your Word not only be heard in me, but lived through me.”
