"The Fruit of a Listening Heart" (James 1:19-21) - Daily Manna - 07/03/26

A listening heart is one of the clearest signs that the Word of Truth is taking root.
In Jacob 1:19–21, we are called to be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger—not because injustice does not matter, but because human wrath cannot produce the righteousness of God. As those who have been brought forth by the Word of Truth, we are called to lay aside the filthy garments of malice, receive the implanted Word with humility, and let God form in us the fruit of His new creation.
This teaching invites us to examine what leads our responses: the anger that wants to take justice into its own hands, or the implanted Word that has the power to rescue our lives.
