"The Brother Who Bowed" (Intro and James 1:1) - Daily Manna - 06/29/26

The brother of Yeshua could have leaned on status, proximity, and family connection—but instead, Jacob bowed.

In the opening line of his letter, Jacob introduces himself as “a slave of God and of the Lord Yeshua the Messiah.” This teaching looks at the humility of the brother who could have boasted, the surrender of a man who met the risen Messiah, and the calling of scattered believers who are not forgotten by God.

Jacob 1:1 reminds us that true identity is not found in titles, reputation, or nearness to spiritual things, but in belonging fully to Yeshua as Lord.
