"Golden Rings, Filthy Clothes, and Kingdom Eyes" (James 2:1-8) - Daily Manna - 07/07/26

Gold rings and filthy clothes can expose more than social status — they can reveal what is happening in the heart.

In James 2:1–8, Jacob confronts the subtle but serious danger of favoritism among the people of God. Faith in our glorious Lord Yeshua the Messiah cannot live comfortably beside appearance-based judgment, status-seeking, or hidden calculations about who benefits us and who costs us.

This teaching calls us to look honestly at the way we see and treat people. Are we valuing others according to wealth, influence, appearance, or usefulness? Or are we learning to see with Kingdom eyes — reflecting the heart of Yeshua, who lifts up the lowly and calls us to fulfill the royal law: “Love your neighbor as yourself”?

True faith is not merely heard or claimed. It is lived out in the way we welcome, honor, and love.
