"All Other Ground Is Sinking Sand" (Philippians 3:1-7) - Daily Manna - 09/21/26

Religious credentials, outward practices, and spiritual accomplishments can never become the foundation of our confidence before God. Paul warns the Philippians not to be tripped up by ANYTHING that shifts their trust away from Messiah Yeshua and onto the flesh.

In Philippians 3:1–7, Paul reminds us that the people of God worship by the Spirit of God, glory in Messiah Yeshua, and put no confidence in the flesh. Even Paul’s impressive religious résumé became “loss” compared with Messiah. Our obedience matters, but it can never replace the One in whom our righteousness and confidence are found. Yeshua is the solid ground—all other ground is sinking sand.
