The way of Yeshua stands in stark contrast to the me-first way of the world.
In Phil. 3:18–20, Paul warns with tears about those who walk as enemies of the cross—people ruled by their appetites, focused on earthly things, and resistant to the daily death of self. But followers of Messiah belong to another Kingdom. Our citizenship is in heaven, and that heavenly citizenship should shape the way we live here and now.
