"I Have Learned the Mystery of 'This Is Enough'" (Philippians 4:10-13) - Daily Manna - 10/05/26

The scoreboard may change, but the standard does not.
In Phil. 4:10–13, Paul reveals the secret he learned through both abundance and lack: true contentment is not self-sufficiency—it is Messiah-sufficiency. Whether his stomach was full or empty, whether he had plenty or was in need, Paul’s joy was not controlled by his circumstances.
“I can do all things through Messiah who strengthens me” is not a promise that we can accomplish anything we set our minds to. In context, it is Paul’s declaration that he can faithfully walk through every circumstance because his strength, identity, and sufficiency are found in Messiah.
The mystery of “this is enough” is ultimately this: He is enough.
