“Wait… Who said that” (Isaiah 48:11-16) - Daily Manna - 03/05/26
Have you ever wondered where you can clearly see the Father, the Son), and the Spirit together in the Hebrew Scriptures?
In Isaiah 48:12–16, something surprising happens – We see ADONAI, the Servant, and the Spirit. The voice speaking calls Israel to listen and declares that He was there from the beginning—and yet He also says that ADONAI has sent Him… along with His Spirit.
Who is speaking here?
As God prepares to bring His people out of Babylon, He reminds them that He alone is the First and the Last, the Creator who stretched out the heavens. But in the middle of this passage, the voice shifts—and suddenly we catch a remarkable glimpse of ADONAI, the Servant who is sent, and the Ruach of God all appearing together in the same moment.
This teaching explores how Isaiah 48 not only calls us to trust the Lord and respond with obedience, but also reveals something deeper about how the God of Israel makes Himself known.
Listen closely. The passage may be more astonishing than you realized.
