"It’s STILL a Trust Issue" (Isaiah 48:1-11) - Daily Manna - 03/04/26

God gives the details.

Babylon will fall.

Exile will end.

Cyrus will rise.

But the real question isn’t about the details.

The question is this: Will you trust the Lord?

Because we often think trust depends on understanding the plan. If we can see how it works… if the strategy makes sense… if the timeline looks reasonable… then we’ll trust.

But God doesn’t offer trust on those terms.

In Isaiah 48, the Lord confronts His people with a hard truth: they carry His name, swear by Him, and identify as His people—but they still don’t trust Him.

So He reminds them of His track record.

He declares what will happen.

Then He acts—and it comes to pass.

Not so we can predict the future, but so we will finally learn to trust the One who controls it.

The question Isaiah presses on every generation—including ours—is simple:

Whatever the details… will you trust the Lord?
