"Unforgettable" (Isaiah 49:14-21) - Daily Manna - 03/11/26
Have you ever felt like God has forgotten you?
In Isaiah 49:14–21, Zion cries out, “ADONAI has forsaken me… my Lord has forgotten me.” It’s a moment many believers recognize—when circumstances seem to contradict God’s promises. But in one of the most unforgettable responses in Scripture, God answers with breathtaking tenderness:
“Can a woman forget her nursing baby? … Even if these forget, I will not forget you.”
Through powerful imagery, God reveals that His people are engraved on the palms of His hands and that what appears barren and hopeless can become the setting for astonishing restoration. The Lord transforms mourning into joy, desolation into abundance, and loss into life.
This teaching explores how Isaiah’s message speaks directly to moments when faith feels strained and hope feels distant—and reminds us that the God who makes promises is the God who keeps them.
Even when you feel forgotten, you are unforgettable to Him.
