“Lord, Help Me See What You’re ‘Actually’ Doing in this” ( Phil. 1:12-14) - Daily Manna - 09/03/26

Sometimes the circumstances that look like setbacks are actually the very places where God is doing His greatest work.

In Phil. 1:12-14, Paul looks at years of injustice, imprisonment, opposition, and suffering and says something remarkable: what happened to him had actually resulted in the advancement of the Good News. His chains opened doors for Messiah to be made known, and his imprisonment inspired other believers to speak the Word with greater courage.

This teaching challenges us to look beyond the surface of our circumstances and pray, “Lord, help me see what You’re actually doing in this.” Even when the picture seems unfinished, God may be working in ways we cannot yet see.
