"Don't Let THEM (Rivals/Enemies) Change You" (Philippians 1:15-18) - Daily Manna - 09/04/26

Someone else’s wrong motives don’t have to change yours.

In Philippians 1:15–18, Paul faces believers who are preaching Messiah out of envy, strife, and selfish ambition—some even hoping to make his imprisonment more difficult. Yet Paul refuses to fight the flesh with the flesh. Instead, he keeps his focus on the Kingdom, trusts the Lord with what he cannot control, and chooses to rejoice that Messiah is being proclaimed.

When people criticize us, compete with us, misunderstand us, or treat us like an enemy, we have a choice: become like them or continue becoming like Yeshua. Don’t let their flesh awaken yours. Don’t surrender your love, your joy, or your freedom because of someone else’s behavior.

I can’t control what I can’t control—but I can choose who I become.
