Sometimes the doors God closes are the very things He uses to lead us where we need to be.

As Paul looked back on the beginning of the congregation at Philippi, he could see that what once seemed like frustration, delay, and disappointment had actually been the direction of the Ruach ha-Kodesh. The Lord said “no” to Asia, “no” to Bithynia, and then opened the way to Macedonia—where a God-fearing woman named Lydia was already being prepared by the river.
