"Fighting in THIS kingdom with the Rules of God’s Kingdom" (Phil. 1:27-30) - Daily Manna - 09/
Sep 8, 2026
We are called to fight—but not the way this world fights.
In Phil. 1:27–30, Paul reminds believers that although we live in the kingdoms of this world, our true citizenship is in heaven. That means our battles, our responses to opposition, and even the way we endure suffering should reflect the character and values of Messiah Yeshua.
Paul calls us to live worthy of the Good News, stand together in one Spirit, refuse to be intimidated by opposition, and recognize that following Messiah may sometimes lead us through suffering rather than around it.
The question is not whether we will face conflict. The question is whether we will fight according to the rules of this world—or according to the ways of God’s Kingdom.
