The world teaches us to grasp for recognition, position, power, and status. Yeshua shows us a completely different way.

In Phil. 2:5–8, Paul calls us to have the same mindset as Messiah Yeshua—the One who did not grasp for position, but emptied Himself, took the form of a servant, humbled Himself, and became obedient even to death on a cross.

This teaching challenges us to examine the places where pride, recognition, wounded dignity, and “me first” thinking may still be shaping our lives. The mind of Messiah does not seek empty glory—it seeks to empty self, serve others, and reveal the true greatness of God.

Don’t seek empty glory. Seek to empty self.
