Isaiah 34 might be the chapter you’d rather skip—the nightmare of judgment, desolation, and the world being “flipped” right-side-up. But this passage isn’t here to feed fear; it’s here to reveal the heart of ADONAI: compassionate, gracious, slow to anger, and yet faithful to justice (Exod. 34:6–7).
In this teaching, we walk through Isaiah 34 and see why God warns before He judges, why the consequences of rebellion are never random, and why Edom becomes a picture of what happens when humanity clings to self-rule. And we end where Scripture wants us to end: not in dread, but in a sober, urgent invitation—choose life. Because Isaiah 35 is coming… but Isaiah 34 is a warning we ignore at our peril.
