When the enemy gets loud, it’s easy to fixate on the threat—and let fear start calling the shots. In Isaiah 37, King Hezekiah hits the end of his own plans: Egypt won’t help, the pressure is in his face, and intimidation is shouting in the ears of God’s people.

But then everything shifts. Hezekiah takes the threatening letter, walks into the house of ADONAI, and spreads it out before the Lord. He doesn’t deny the facts—he just refuses to treat them like they’re final. This is a masterclass in crisis faith: recognizing what’s true, rejecting the lie beneath it, and praying until your perspective is reset by the reality of who God is.
