"No Walls Needed" (Zechariah 2:5-9)- Daily Manna - 07/28/26

The walls were never the true source of Jerusalem’s security. In Zechariah’s third vision, ADONAI reveals a city overflowing with life—too expansive to be contained by walls—and declares that He Himself will be a wall of fire around her and the glory in her midst.

This teaching calls us to look beyond the structures, resources, and visible safeguards we are tempted to trust. Our protection, identity, and glory are not found in what we can build around ourselves, but in the presence of the One who says, “I Myself will be.” Fix your eyes not on what you can see, but on what ADONAI has spoken.
