"The Not-So-Secret Passageway to the High and Exalted Place" (Isaiah 57:14-15) - Daily Manna - 04/10
What if the way into the highest, holiest place of God’s presence… wasn’t up—but down?
In Isaiah 57:14–15, we’re given what seems like a hidden pathway—but it’s not hidden at all for those who are paying attention. While many try to climb their way to God—through effort, image, power, or even religious performance—this passage reveals something completely different.
The High and Exalted One, who dwells in eternity, who is holy beyond all comparison, makes a stunning declaration: He doesn’t only dwell in the high and holy place… He also dwells with the one who is crushed and humble in spirit.
This teaching walks through the contrast between false “high places” we build for ourselves and the true highway God prepares. It exposes the danger of giving lip service to God while clinging to the idols of this world—and it invites us into genuine, heart-deep repentance.
The “secret passageway” to God’s presence isn’t found in striving higher… but in surrendering lower.
If you’ve ever felt distant from God, stuck in your own ways, or unsure how to truly draw near—this message will reorient everything.
