"A Plea for Mercy" (Isaiah 64:7-11) - Daily Manna - 05/13/26

A ruined city. A burned house. A people crushed under the weight of their own sin. Yet in the middle of the rubble comes one of the most hope-filled cries in all of Isaiah: “But now, ADONAI, You are our Father.”
This powerful teaching walks through Isaiah 64:7–11 and explores the desperate plea of a people who know they cannot save themselves. When everything holy seems broken, when shame and failure have left devastation behind, the prophet reminds us that the Potter has not abandoned the clay.
This is a message about mercy for the ruined, hope for the weary, and the relentless compassion of God toward people who cannot remake themselves.
