"Blessed that We Might Be a Blessing: A Kingdom of Priests" (Isaiah 61:5-9) - Daily Manna - 04/30/26
God didn’t bless you so you could hold more—He blessed you so you could carry more.
In Isaiah 61:5–9, we see the powerful overflow of the Messiah’s work: the broken are restored, the ashamed are honored, and the redeemed are given a new identity—not as rulers over others, but as priests for others. This teaching unpacks the calling to be a “kingdom of priests,” revealing that the double portion we receive is not for personal gain, but for carrying the heart and responsibility of the Father into the world.
From strangers becoming partners, to nations recognizing God’s faithfulness, this passage reminds us that our lives are meant to reflect Him so clearly that the world cannot ignore His goodness.
You are blessed—but not just for you. You are blessed to be a blessing.
