What do you do when trusting God feels less practical than making a backup plan?
In Isaiah 30, God confronts His people for running to Egypt instead of resting in Him. Egypt looked strong. It felt safe. But it was empty. This teaching walks through Isaiah 30:27–33, revealing a sobering truth: God may come “from afar,” but He is coming—to rescue, to judge, and to set things right.
Through vivid imagery of fire, breath, voice, and song, Isaiah reminds us that the Lord is not absent or slow. He is patient. And when He comes, false security collapses, idols are exposed, and His people are restored.
If you’ve ever struggled to trust God when fear is loud and solutions feel urgent, this message will challenge you to stop running, stop striving, and learn again what it means to rest.
👉 In repentance and rest is your salvation… but will you choose it?
