Have you ever realized too late that what you were trusting wasn’t what you thought it was?

In Isaiah 30, God exposes Judah’s misplaced confidence—alliances made without Him, plans formed apart from His Spirit, and “gold and silver” that ultimately prove empty and defiled. What they leaned on collapses. What they trusted shames them. Yet in the midst of discipline, God reveals His heart: He is waiting to be gracious.

This teaching walks through Isaiah 30:18–26, uncovering how God uses adversity to awaken blind eyes, how false supports are exposed for what they truly are, and how repentance opens the way for restoration, healing, and renewed abundance. When the towers fall, streams begin to flow. When idols are discarded, God binds up the broken and brings light where there was darkness.
