"Burdened and Exhausted." (Isaiah 43:22-25) - Daily Manna - 02/17/26
Have you ever felt spiritually exhausted… even while doing all the “right” things?
In Isaiah 43:22–25, God speaks directly into the danger of empty worship—when devotion becomes routine, obedience becomes obligation, and religious motion replaces relational fire. The LORD confronts His people not for lacking sacrifice, but for bringing offerings without heart… and for accusing Him inwardly of being a burden.
This is a sobering call back to genuine worship—not performance, not ritual, but awe, repentance, and a life that truly touches God.
And then, without warning, Isaiah leaps from the God who is wearied by sin… to the God who blots it out completely:
“I, I am the One who blots out your transgressions for My own sake…” (Isa. 43:25)
This teaching is both a warning and an invitation: come back to the heart of worship.
