Isaiah 44 delivers one of the most scathing and unforgettable exposures of idolatry in all of Scripture. With holy irony, Adonai reveals the absurdity of worshiping what human hands have made—warming yourself with half the wood… then bowing to the leftover and saying, “Save me.”

This message isn’t just about ancient statues. It’s about modern self-made saviors: money, success, security, religion crafted in our own image—anything we hold in our right hand and call “hope.”

God’s call is clear: stop looking at the wrong light. Return to the Redeemer. Become the light He formed you to be.

“I am the first and I am the last, and there is no God beside Me.” (Isa. 44:6)
