"Promise or Panic? Which Voice Will You Trust?" (Num. 13-14) - Shabbat - 06/20/26
Promise may be right in front of you, but panic can still be shouting in your heart.
In Numbers 13–14, Israel stands at the edge of the land ADONAI promised — with the fruit of the promise in their hands and the fear of giants in their hearts. The land was good. The promise was real. But the walls were tall, the people were strong, and fear began to preach louder than faith.
This teaching invites us to look honestly at the obstacles without letting them become greater in our eyes than the God who goes before us. The question Israel faced is the same question we face: will we trust His promise, or will we trust our panic?
ADONAI had already delivered them from Egypt, opened the Red Sea, fed them with manna, and led them by cloud and fire. The giants were real — but they were not greater than Him.
