“When the Flesh Feeds, The Spirit Grieves” (Eph. 4:17-5:2) - Daily Manna - 03/21/26
What if the greatest threat to your spiritual life isn’t out there… but hiding within you?
In Ephesians 4, we’re confronted with a sobering reality: the “old self” isn’t gone—it’s deceptive, patient, and still working beneath the surface. Like a sleeper cell, the flesh disguises itself as helpful, protective, even justified… all while quietly pulling us back into me-first living.
This message exposes how feeding the flesh leads to grieving the Spirit—and how subtle patterns like hidden falsehood, reactive anger, selfish living, and careless words reveal what’s still at work beneath the surface.
But this isn’t a message of condemnation—it’s an invitation.
An invitation to let the Holy Spirit search us…
To lay aside what’s false…
To stop reacting and start surrendering…
To move from taking to giving…
And to become people whose lives actually reflect Yeshua.
You don’t drift into godliness.
But by the Spirit… you can walk in it.
It’s time to take off the old…
So the life of Messiah can be revealed in you.
