An Uninspiring Pep Talk:  Isaiah’s Commission. (Isaiah 6:9-13)

Isaiah’s commission wasn’t the rousing pep talk we often imagine. God calls Isaiah to preach a message He knows most people will reject. Why? Because His word must go forth—even when ears are deaf and eyes are blind. This passage reminds us that faithfulness is not about applause but obedience, and that even when everything is cut down, God leaves a holy seed—a hope rooted in His promises.
