"The God Who Comes in Fire" (Isaiah 66:5-18) - Daily Manna - 05/25/26
The God who comes in fire is not unaware, unmoved, or unjust. He sees the affliction of His people, He hears the cry of the oppressed, and He will deal with the evil that seems to keep escaping consequences.
In Isaiah 66:15–17, we are confronted with the holiness of ADONAI as a consuming fire. His fire brings deliverance for the humble, judgment for the rebellious, and exposure for empty religion that hides behind spiritual activity while missing the heart of God.
This teaching explores the fire of God from the burning bush to Isaiah’s final chapter, showing that His justice is not in conflict with His love. The Lord is slow to anger, but His holiness will not ignore injustice, abuse, oppression, or religious hypocrisy forever.
The call is clear: tremble at His word, humble yourself before Him, and let His fire purify what needs to be purified now.
