"Wait, What? Who is the Arm of the LORD" (Isaiah 53) - Shabbat - 09/06/25
“Wait, What? WHO Is the Arm of ADONAI?”
What if the Arm of ADONAI doesn’t arrive in spectacle—but in a Servant? In this message, we walk through Isaiah 52:13–53:12 (TLV) and ask a simple, honest question: could the Suffering Servant be how God bares His holy arm so that “all the ends of the earth will see the salvation of our God” (Isa 52:10)?
With humility—and without pressure—we explore why this passage is often bypassed, how the Servant bears our griefs and carries our pains, and why “the chastisement for our shalom was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed” (Isa 53:5).
If you’re Jewish and exploring, this is an invitation to read Isaiah 53 in your own Bible (TLV/JPS) and simply ask the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: “Hineni—are You revealing Your Messiah here?”
Key ideas: the Arm of ADONAI revealed in humility (52:13–53:3), substitution that heals the many (53:4–9), and a willing offering vindicated by God (53:10–12). No arm-twisting—just Isaiah’s words and an open door.
Scripture: Isaiah 52:13–53:12 (TLV).
Consider reading along and praying: “ADONAI, help me see what You’re showing.”
