“The Great Arraignment of God’s People:  A Broken Nation”

Introduction to Isaiah, and Isaiah 1:1-9


Isaiah opens with a courtroom scene where God calls heaven and earth as witnesses against His people. The charges? Rebellion, corruption, and spiritual blindness—even animals know their master better than God’s people recognized Him! Yet, in the midst of judgment, we see mercy—“Unless Adonai-Tzva’ot had left us a small remnant, we would have been like Sodom” (Isaiah 1:9).


In this message, we dive into Isaiah 1:1–9 and discover:
