“The Fruit of Faithlessness” (Isaiah 7:18-25)
When King Ahaz refused to trust God, he chose to rely on Assyria instead. The result? Disaster, disgrace, and desolation. In Isaiah 7:18–25, we see the sobering picture of what happens when faithlessness bears its fruit: swarming enemies, total humiliation, and a land overrun with thorns instead of fruit.
This teaching unpacks the “fruit of faithlessness” and challenges us to ask: Where are we putting our trust today? Are we leaning on the powers of this world—or on the God who says, “Ask Me. Trust Me.”
