"Bringing our Darkness into the Light" (1 John 1:8-10) - Daily Manna - 05/29/26

God is light—and the only way to truly walk with Him is to bring our darkness into His light.

In this teaching from 1 John 1:8–10, we are reminded that walking in the light does not mean pretending we have no sin. It means refusing to hide, deny, excuse, or cover what God is calling us to confess. John gives a clear warning: if we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves; if we confess our sins, God is faithful and righteous to forgive us and cleanse us; and if we say we have not sinned, we make Him a liar.

This message calls us to humility, honesty, and true fellowship with God. The invitation is not to live in shame, but to come into the light—where mercy, cleansing, forgiveness, and transformation are found in Yeshua.

Bring your anger. Bring your selfishness. Bring your hidden struggle. Bring the darkness into the light, and let the faithful goodness of God cleanse and restore you.
