“Scoffers, Floods, and Fire: Why God’s Word Still Stands” (2 Peter 3:3-7)
In 2 Peter 3:3–7, Peter warns that scoffers will rise in the last days, mocking God’s promises and following their own desires. But their voices can’t undo the truth: God has already judged the world by water in Noah’s day, and by that same Word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire.
In this teaching, we’ll uncover:
- Why scoffers are driven by desires, not truth
- How the flood proves God’s Word always comes to pass
- Why the certainty of future judgment calls us to live with urgency today
God’s Word still stands. Judgment is real. So is His mercy. The question is: are you ready?
