"Continually? Did God Command the Impossible?" (Ex. 27:20-30:10) - Tetzaveh - 3/7/24
God commanded Israel to do certain things continually (Tamid)—to always keep the Menorah burning, to always offer daily sacrifices, to always place the Bread of the Presence before Him, and for the High Priest to intercede continually. But for 2,000 years, there has been no Temple, no High Priest, and no sacrifices.
So, did God command the impossible?
This week’s Torah Portion (Tetzaveh - תְּצַוֶּה) explores the mystery of Tamid—why these commands were given, what happened to them, and how they find their ultimate fulfillment in Yeshua, the Great High Priest, in the order of Melchizedek.(See Below for links to Teachings on Melchizedek)
🔹 Why does the word "Tamid" (continually) appear seven times in this portion?
🔹 How does Yeshua fulfill the role of the eternal High Priest?
🔹 What happens to the covenant if the Temple no longer stands?
🔹 Is there a way to still fulfill God's eternal commands today?
Join us as we uncover the prophetic connection between the priesthood, the sacrifices, and Yeshua’s continual intercession on our behalf.
